The Los Angeles area is currently facing some of the most destructive wildfires in California history. Not only have lives been lost, but tens of thousands of structures have been damaged or completely destroyed. Among the damage and destruction are the homes and church buildings (such as the Pasadena Church of Christ pictured above) of fellow Christians.

This is an opportunity for us to put faith into action. The Apostle Paul urged the church at Galatia to take action: "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith." (Galatians 6:10). Likewise, our elders are urging us to take action now.

A California Wildfire Disaster Fund has been established for our congregation, and the funds collected will be donated to a larger Christian relief fund being spearheaded by the South Union Church of Christ. All monies will be used to help our brothers and sisters in Christ who have been impacted by this devatating natural disaster. Please donate to this fund as you are able. There will be an in-person collection on next Sunday, January 26th. Donations may also be given through the "Give" page on the website.

Thank you in advance for your love and generosity!
